Festival Of India

Festival of India-Thunder Bay was started by Dr. Prashant Jani and Mrs. Sneha Jani in 2006. In 2009 they established a nonprofit organization – Vedic Cultural Centre in Thunder Bay. Currently the festival is organized by all the volunteers of Vedic Cultural Centre, Thunder Bay.

The Jani family decided to organize the Festival as a way to gain an insight into the culture of India. It is a chance to showcase what Dr. Jani calls “The Emerging Thunder Bay” which gives  the community an opportunity to learn, embrace and grow respect for new people, cultures and ideas.
